Way Back Wednesday & Fried Chicken

Meet My Great, Great, Grandparrents!

On the right is William Riley Gillihan Jr. and in the center is his wife Ava S. (Thompson) Gillihan. They were both born in the 1850's in Izard County Arkansas and lived most of their lives in Twin Creek. William is buried in the Combs Cemetery in Izard County and I have seen his grave. Ava is buried in Oklahoma and I have her death certificate. Both died in the 30's. I also have a photo of William's father, William Riley Gillihan Sr., in his Civil War uniform but I will save that for another day.

I heard someone say that Wednesdays are the saddest day of the week but I look forward to Wednesday nights. It's my night to play Pogo (online computer games) since it is the day that new challanges come out AND if I have eaten healthy on Monday and Tuesday, I buy the Popeye's Wednesday special of 8 pieces of chicken for only $4.99. Tonight I get both fried chicken and Pogo games. Yippee!
