Over Thanksgiving weekend my cousin Lea and I went to her daughter's house to decorate her tree and mantle. Erica is an RN so she works holidays. Putting up her decorations is our way of saying thank you to the folks who don't get to attend Thanksgiving dinner because they are responsible for the health and safety of others.

I will also take this as a nice compliment because I worked 30 years as a nurse and missed many a holiday! I loved getting to see the actually Thanksgiving parade this year, in it's entirety!!!
