Looking For My Forever Home

Put rescue out of business - spay or neuter your pets!
Boo in California
Hi! My name is Boo and I was surrendered to Ratbone along with my brother Popeye. My family got a divorce so they could not take care of me anymore. I'm about 2 yrs old, 8 pounds, and 11” tall. I am lovely and get along well with my foster family. I like cats although sometimes I like to chase them. I really need a canine friend to play with because I grew up with my brother and would be too lonely as an only dog. I’m shy with men at first, but once you have my trust I'm your boy! I am housetrained, walk well on a leash, and love to ride in the car. I also love to snuggle and watch movies with my person, so if you are looking for a cute compact companion, I'm your boy!

Rosie in Ohio
Rosie may come in a small package, but she has a pocket full of Kisses. She is sweet and calm. She is six years old, weighs 10 pounds and is looking for someone who would love a constant companion. She is crate trained and house trained as long as she is kept on schedule. She likes to stay close by, and will be your shadow. If your lap is available, she’ll look up at you, waiting for your permission to jump up on your lap to snuggle with you. She loves to burrow under the covers. Anyone who has met her loves her. She does well with kids ages 5 and up. I am not sure how she would be with a toddler, but she should be okay with them if they are taught how to treat her. She hasn’t been tested with cats. She is okay with other dogs.

Monty in California
Hi! My name is Monty. I was found in Monterey, CA. I am about 1year old, 13 inches tall, and 15lbs. I was attacked by a wild animal so I spent weeks recuperating from my injuries. Then I was put on death row at the “shelter”. Those great Ratbone people saved me in the nick of time. I also have a genetic eye problem so my fostermom brought me to a doctor to have it fixed. My other eye has glaucoma, which will require special drops for the rest of my life. I have had a rough start in life and could use some loving parent to be my family and give me the care I need. My foster mom says I'm just about the most perfect dog she has ever met. I'm housetrained, can use a doggie door, and walk on a leash like a champ! I love to snuggle, love to be loved, and am as happy as can be. I'm a little shy but when I feel comfortable I'm a very outgoing guy! Can I be your boy?

Popeye in California
My name is Popeye, just like the sailor because I'm strong to the finish. I'm 2 yrs. old, 13 pounds, and about 13" tall. I’m 100% Rattie and registered with the National Rat Terrier Assoc. I was surrendered to Ratbone because my parents got a divorce and could no longer care for me. I am a doll and very sweet. I am well behaved and I am catching on to all the commands. I am housetrained with a doggie door. Although I can be a bit timid, once I get to know you, I become a tail wagging, love bug. I really need a canine friend to play with because I 'm still very young and love, love, love to play. I'm very good with dogs my size and I even like cats. I'm untested with kids. Large dogs make me nervous so I would need a home with none living there. I sleep in my crate with one of my foster brothers, however, I would prefer my fostermoms bed. I'm waiting for my forever home. Could it be yours?
